
Focus Strategies is Thrilled to Announce Team Promotions
Austin, Texas – (February 8, 2022) – Focus Strategies Investment Banking (“Focus Strategies”), a leading middle market investment bank based in Austin, Texas, is very pleased to announce the promotions of Stephen Reesing to Managing Director, Shepherd Robinson to Vice President and Zoë Dobson to Associate.

Steve Reesing joined Focus Strategies in 2018 with over 25 years of senior management experience working with middle market companies. He has worked with dozens of clients during his tenure, with most recent closings of Hahn, C&C Sage, Inc. and Rent Equip. Steve is responsible for identifying, developing and cultivating existing and new business relationships. He earned a BBA from the University of Texas and is a Certified M&A Professional.
Shepherd Robinson joined Focus Strategies in 2018 and has driven significant efforts by supporting our senior bankers with value creation initiatives, has taken on increasing responsibilities, and has developed a strong skill set in the transaction process. With this promotion, he will step into a leadership role, overseeing and training our associates, analysts, and interns. Shepherd earned a BS in Economics from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
Zoë Dobson joined Focus Strategies in 2021 as a Senior Financial Analyst, having spent two and a half years as an analyst with Truist Securities allowing her to bring strong, relevant experience to the firm. Zoë will continue to play a role in supporting and participating in the full range of M&A transactions, capital raises and strategic advisory assignments. She earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
