February 2, 2021 (Austin, TX) – Focus Strategies Investment Banking (“Focus Strategies”) is pleased to announce the promotion of John Pruitt to Director. John will continue to be an integral part of our transaction team, with additional responsibilities of identifying, developing and cultivating existing and new business relationships.

After serving in the United States Navy, John earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He started his professional career as a Commodity Manager and joined Focus Strategies in 2013 as an intern, moving his way up the ranks throughout his tenure. Most recently serving as Vice President, John took on both a support role as well as a leadership role, overseeing and training our associates, analysts, and interns.
