Focus Strategies Investment Banking is pleased to announce the addition of Oliver Sandlin, Director, to its team of bankers. Mr. Sandlin has over 25 years of experience in dealing with legal, accounting, and financial issues of middle-market companies. He has practiced corporate, tax and securities law in Austin with both large and small firms and has worked as outsourced and in-house general counsel for clients. Previously, Mr. Sandlin founded and successfully sold a FINRA-member broker-dealer entity which specialized in private placements of securities and merger and acquisition advisory work. He has also served as a managing director for a Houston-based investment bank. Mr. Sandlin began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Houston, where he focused on audit and management consulting work for large privately-held and public companies.

Mr. Sandlin received BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He currently holds Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
